Cookie policy
The short version: this site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no profiling. One thing loads on its own — the map that shows where to find us. Everything else optional waits for your answer.
1 · Consent and the cookie banner
On your first visit the site asks which cookies it may use. Apart from the embedded map, nothing non-essential loads before you answer — and if you dismiss the banner without answering, every optional category stays off.
Consent is handled by BARADATA’s bara-cookie service. It stores your choice and keeps a record of it, so we can show what you allowed and when.
Categories
- Necessary — running the site, and your consent record. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences — the language you chose.
- Analytics — not used on this site.
- Marketing — the embedded video, and the Google Maps embed, which loads with the page so you can always see where we are.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
2 · What is stored in your browser

Both are first-party and neither identifies you. The language choice is not stored at all unless you allow preference cookies — the language still switches instantly, it simply is not remembered for your next visit.
3 · The embedded map and video
The map is part of the page and loads with it, on the Contact page and in the locations block on the front page. It is a Google service: opening the page contacts Google, which sets its own cookies and sees your IP address. We show it anyway, because a map you have to ask for is a map nobody finds.
The video is different: you see a placeholder and a button, and nothing is requested from Google until you allow marketing cookies and press it yourself.

If marketing cookies are not allowed, pressing the video button opens your cookie settings rather than loading the video. Next to every map there is also a plain “Directions” link, which goes to Google Maps in a new tab.
4 · Typefaces
The site’s typefaces (Satoshi and General Sans) are served from our own server. They set no cookies and disclose your IP address to nobody outside.
They used to be fetched from a third-party network, which disclosed your IP address the moment the page loaded. A cookie banner could not prevent that, so we moved the files onto our own server.
5 · Bot protection
The enquiry form is protected against spam by three measures that set no cookies and involve no third party: a hidden field, a check on how long the form took to fill in, and a server-side submission-rate limit.
Google reCAPTCHA is available in the software but has not been switched on. If it ever is, we will update this page before that happens.
6 · How to control all this
Open your cookie settings from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. You can allow or refuse each category separately, and a withdrawal takes effect immediately.
When you withdraw the preferences category, the stored language choice is deleted from your browser. An embed that has already loaded cannot be unloaded mid-session — reload the page and it is gone.
